1. Our Commitment to Copyright Law

AegisIQ Limited, the company that owns and operates CryptoLoveYou.com, takes intellectual property rights seriously. We respect the rights of copyright owners and are committed to operating in compliance with applicable copyright law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, of the United States and the Hong Kong Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528).

We believe that protecting creative works is fundamental to a healthy digital ecosystem. We do not knowingly permit the use of our platform to infringe third-party intellectual property rights, and we act promptly when credible infringement claims are brought to our attention.

This DMCA Compliance Policy explains how rights holders may submit infringement notices to us, how we process those notices, and how affected parties may submit counter-notifications. It also describes our repeat infringer policy and the standards we apply when evaluating notices.

As a good-faith digital publisher, AegisIQ Limited operates within the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA and is committed to maintaining those protections through full compliance with its requirements. This page constitutes our official DMCA policy for purposes of 17 U.S.C. § 512.

2. DMCA Safe Harbor — 17 U.S.C. § 512

The DMCA provides a set of safe harbor protections for online service providers (“OSPs”) that store or transmit content at the direction of users and third parties, provided that those OSPs comply with certain requirements. These protections are set out in 17 U.S.C. § 512(a)–(d).

CryptoLoveYou.com qualifies as a service provider under the DMCA. To the extent that we host user-generated or third-party content, we store and transmit such content at the direction of users or third-party contributors, rather than at our own direction. We do not receive a direct financial benefit specifically attributable to any allegedly infringing activity, and we do not have actual knowledge of infringement or awareness of facts or circumstances from which infringement is apparent, except as notified through this policy.

To maintain our eligibility for safe harbor protection, we have taken the following steps:

• Designated Agent: We have designated a Copyright Agent as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), and we have published the contact information for our Designated Agent on this page.
• Repeat Infringer Policy: We have adopted, implemented, and informed our users of a policy that provides for the termination of accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
• Standard Technical Measures: We do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect their works.
• Expeditious Response: Upon receipt of a valid notice of claimed infringement, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

3. Designated Copyright Agent

As required by the DMCA, AegisIQ Limited has designated a Copyright Agent to receive notices of claimed infringement. All DMCA notices and counter-notifications must be directed to our Designated Agent using the contact information below.

4. How to Submit a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

To be effective under the DMCA, a takedown notice must substantially comply with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). An incomplete or deficient notice has no legal effect and will not obligate us to take any action. We strongly encourage you to include all required elements to avoid delays.

Six Required Elements Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)

Your written notice must include all six of the following elements:

1. Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly being infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works on a single site are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list of such works at that site.
3. Identification of the infringing material. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material — for example, the specific URL(s) of the page(s) on CryptoLoveYou.com where the allegedly infringing content appears. Screenshots or other identifying information are helpful but not required.
4. Your contact information. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you: your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. Good faith statement. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. Accuracy and perjury statement. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Liability for False Notices

17 U.S.C. § 512(f) provides that any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for any damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, any copyright owner, the copyright owner’s authorized licensee, or a service provider who relies upon such misrepresentation in removing or disabling access to the material. Do not submit a notice unless you have a genuine, good-faith belief that infringement has occurred.

Where to Send Your Notice

Send your complete written notice to: dmca@cryptoloveyou.com. Physical mail is accepted at the address listed in Section 3, but email is significantly faster and strongly preferred.

5. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receipt of a notice claiming copyright infringement, we follow the process below:

Review and Validity Assessment

Within 5 business days of receiving a notice, our Legal Department will review it to determine whether it substantially complies with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We assess whether all six required elements are present and whether the notice appears to have been submitted in good faith.

Valid Notices

If we determine that a notice is valid and complete, we will:

• Remove or disable access to the content identified in the notice as expeditiously as reasonably practicable;
• Take reasonable steps to notify the subscriber or uploader (if applicable and identifiable) that the content has been removed or disabled, and forward a copy of the notice to them;
• Update our internal records in accordance with our repeat infringer policy; and
• Acknowledge receipt and action taken to the notifying party.

Invalid or Deficient Notices

If a notice is incomplete, deficient, or does not appear to have been submitted in good faith, we will reject it with an explanation of the deficiency, and invite the notifying party to resubmit a corrected notice where appropriate. We are not obligated to act on a deficient notice and will not do so.

No Waiver

Our decision to process or decline any particular notice does not constitute a waiver of any legal rights or defences available to us, and does not constitute an admission that any particular content is or is not infringing.

6. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that content you uploaded or submitted to CryptoLoveYou.com was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Agent. Counter-notifications are governed by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Five Required Elements Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)

Your written counter-notification must include all five of the following elements:

1. Your signature. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of removed material. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL or other specific description) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
3. Statement under penalty of perjury. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction. Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you reside outside the United States, the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice or their agent.
5. Acceptance of service of process. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person or company who submitted the original takedown notice, or from their agent.

What Happens After We Receive a Counter-Notification

Upon receipt of a counter-notification that substantially complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), we will:

• Forward a copy of the counter-notification to the person who submitted the original takedown notice, including your contact information;
• Inform the original complainant that we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity; and
• Restore the content (at our discretion) within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notification, unless the original complainant seeks a court order during that period.

We reserve the right to decline to restore content even after a counter-notification, particularly where we have independent reasons to believe the content was infringing or violated our Terms of Service.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), AegisIQ Limited has adopted and reasonably implemented a policy under which we may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

We maintain internal records of DMCA notices received and the accounts or contributors associated with allegedly infringing content. A “repeat infringer” is generally a user or contributor against whom we have received multiple valid, uncontested infringement notices. We evaluate each situation individually, taking into account the circumstances, the nature and severity of the infringement, and whether the user has submitted successful counter-notifications.

Users who receive notice of alleged infringement are expected to take the matter seriously and to cease any infringing activity. Users who continue to upload or publish infringing content after receiving notice may have their access to the platform permanently terminated, with or without further notice.

We also reserve the right to terminate access for a single severe infringement where circumstances warrant, without requiring multiple prior notices.

8. Content We Publish

CryptoLoveYou.com publishes editorial content focused on cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and financial markets. We take the following steps to ensure our content respects third-party intellectual property rights:

• Original editorial content: The substantial majority of our articles, guides, analyses, and commentary are original works authored by our editorial team and are owned by AegisIQ Limited.
• Licensed imagery: Where we use photographs or other imagery, we source them from licensed stock image providers or use images we have the legal right to use. We do not reproduce unlicensed photographs.
• Factual cryptocurrency data: Price data, market capitalisation figures, and similar factual financial data are not protected by copyright under applicable law; we treat such data as factual information in the public domain.
• No full-work reproduction: We do not reproduce the full text of third-party copyrighted articles, books, reports, or other works without authorisation.
• Quotation and fair use: Where we quote from third-party works for purposes of commentary, criticism, news reporting, or analysis, we apply fair use principles under 17 U.S.C. § 107 and equivalent provisions of the Hong Kong Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528). We quote only as much as is reasonably necessary, we attribute the source, and we do not substitute for the original work.
• Third-party trademarks: References to third-party company names, exchange names, and cryptocurrency project names are used for identification and informational purposes only, and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

9. Accuracy & Good Faith Requirement

We are committed to processing legitimate copyright claims fairly and promptly. However, we also have an obligation to our users and contributors not to remove content based on frivolous, incomplete, or abusive notices.

Accordingly, we will only respond to notices that appear to be complete, accurate, and submitted in good faith. We reserve the right to:

• Reject or ignore notices that are materially incomplete and fail to include the required statutory elements;
• Reject or ignore notices that appear designed to suppress lawful speech, competitive commentary, criticism, or satire rather than to address genuine copyright infringement;
• Reject or ignore notices submitted by parties who do not appear to hold the copyright rights they claim to represent;
• Reject or ignore automated or bulk notices that have not been reviewed for accuracy with respect to the specific content identified; and
• Take legal action against parties who submit knowingly false or abusive notices, as permitted by 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and applicable law.

We treat all notices we receive as potential evidence in a legal proceeding. We maintain records of all notices received and actions taken, and we may produce these records in any litigation or regulatory inquiry.
